Catch Kitchen + Bar offers an upscale casual dining experience. Located on the second floor of Bayview Pier at Fisherman wharf in Steveston village. Our recently renovated waterfront restaurant offers the best view of Steveston’s historic harbor, we are perfectly situated to catch all the brilliant sunsets and our roof top patio features a magical 270-degree panoramic view of the rivers inlet. With ample indoor seating and a large bar area providing great vantage points for enjoying views of the water, Catch Kitchen + Bar is the perfect spot for intimate dinners and celebrations.     The service, ambience and food was less then adequate. Overall the service has significantly gone downhill in the last couple of years. Before moving from Richmond to South Surrey we would go to the Catch regularly, enjoying every aspect of the restaurant. Last night was the first time in about two years we returned, and I'm not sure why things have changed. I do know that they are no longer worth the approximately 70 km round trip, nor will we recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

    We were greeted right away when we arrived and brought us to our table. The waitress checked in on us a few times. The food came out in a timely manner and super fresh. I like my food hot. She offered fresh pepper. We had a lovely view. The food was delicious. We ordered the prawn and scallop pasta, the chowder, and the Baja fish tacos. They also included a free vanilla strawberry slice of cake for the birthday girl. Overall, we will go back in the future.

    Food was great. Service a little on the slow slide which was okay as the views are spectacular. We were not rushed out, allowing us to visit and enjoy the view of the harbour and river.

    I had the tacos. The filling was really skimpy. It tasted fine but serving was too small. My husband said his burger was dry. The service was not good. I think we were forgotten.

    Attentive and helpful service from all staff. They accommodated our seating preference with a window view. The prawn pasta special was great as were the lava cake and cheesecake. Well worth a visit.
