Not surprised as we had read lots of great reviews, but as fans of pubs, we were very pleased. I couldn’t decide on a main so I did two appetizers - a delicious sausage roll and some pretzel rolls. The spices in the sausage were deliciously spicy - much more than if you’re used to sausage rolls in the UK, but great in a different way. Lisa had the shepherds pie and loved it… not a scrap left in the bowl! Their signature Old Fashioned is worth the kinda ridiculous price.

Another great lunch at Cedric's, they never miss hitting the target. Friendly staff, starting with the welcoming receptionist, followed by excellent service and attentiveness by our waiter, Chris. The Reuben sandwich can't be beat and don't pass up the house pickles for starters.

We toured the Biltmore late morning and had tickets to see Chihuly at 3:00, so we made lunch reservations at Cedric's Tavern. What a wonderful experience! Our service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was charming.

We have been eating at Cedric’s Tavern for the past half dozen years. The food is always good and the service excellent. This is Jan and one of the coldest days of the year in Asheville so there were not many people there. Still, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a cup of Carrot -Pumpkin soup followed by splitting an order of fish and chips. We know from past experience that one order of fish and chips, split between us, is still just a bit more than we can eat - so it worked out just fine. The soup was delicious and just what i wanted for a cold winter’s day. The fish was excellent, cooked just right. The fries were tasty but i like mine rather crispier than what we were served. All in all, i hight recommend Cedric’s Tavern.

Excellent food and service. We were greeted promptly, our waitress was delightful and food was superb! Highly recommend the Beer & Bacon Almonds for an appetizer. Entrees consisted of Reuben, Pub Burger and salad w/salmon. Beautiful presentation. Not our first and definitely not our last visit. Always a favorite at Biltmore.
