It would have been a very good experience for us & our visiting guests, but there was a large canvas construction sheet covering the entire area where we would have otherwise been able to see yachts swaying in their berths. That made the ambiance disappointing, to put it mildly!

I decided to revisit the restaurant after several years, especially since I heard it had recently undergone renovations. Overall, the experience was just okay. The atmosphere was overwhelming—very loud due to several large parties, a packed house, and live music. Despite the renovation, the furniture looked worn and dated, which was disappointing. The menu felt overpriced for what was offered. This was a business dinner, and we both ordered the stuffed shrimp. The dish was overly rich and oily, with a heavy hollandaise sauce that overpowered the shrimp. On the positive side, the servers were friendly and attentive, though the pacing felt rushed. If I were to return, it would likely be just for drinks at the bar during pau hana, rather than a full meal.

We had high expectations walking into this seafood and steakhouse restaurant, especially given the premium prices on the menu. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not match the cost. The steak was underseasoned and slightly overcooked, while the seafood lacked freshness and flavor. The execution fell far short. Overall, the experience felt more like an overpriced chain than a high-end dining establishment. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re prepared to pay a lot for mediocre food and average service. There are much better options out there for the same—or even less—money.

Dined here for their Mother’s Day Buffet. For the price compared to the other options available, it was on average $20 less per person which was a huge plus. The dining room feels a little cluttered especially for a buffet with a lot of foot traffic. We were seated basically right next to the buffet line, with about 3 feet in-between tables that allowed barely any room to be comfortable with a lot of people passing between us carrying multiple plates stacked with food. The spread was diverse for the price and the food was really good. Maybe it was a bad wash but I did notice that there were a lot of stuck particles to the plates and drinking glasses. Overall, live music, good food, good service, decently priced, so a decent experience for a buffet. Would like to see how the experience is when the service is not buffet style.

Had Mother's Day brunch at the Chart House today - it was busy but just okay. Totally understand that on special days service might be in flux but immediately we were taken to a table set for four for our party of five. Not a big deal, they brought an extra chair etc. One napkin was stained with food. They graciously took it and replaced it. Overall, the food was just okay - roasted lechon was room temperature, stations were kind of sloppy, and often waiting to be replenished. For $75 a head, I was just hoping for a little better.
