   I’ve lived in Chicago on and off my entire life. We have recently moved back and have tried several of the “new” steakhouses. Nothing beats our dining experience last evening.. our appetizers were delicious- salads and oysters followed by amazing steaks. Don’t forget the mashed potatoes!

   Food was soooo good, I would for sure go there again. We had a group of 10 people , and our waiter Julio was amazing

   Prime Rib was excellent, best we’ve had ever. Filet dry aged was superb. Gabe, our server, was excellent.

   I brought some family that were visiting here, and we really enjoyed it. The ambiance screams "Chicago" which is great. The service was beyond excellent! We started with the Caesar salad which was split per person in front of us at the table. We also ordered the French onion soup which was amazing! (Not the biggest fan in general and was still pleasantly surprised.) We then ordered the shrimp cocktail which was great but nothing special. Following that we ordered the bone in Ribeye medium rare and unfortunately it came out on the rarer side. (STRONGLY recommend the butter they offer on top which adds a lot of flavors). For sides we ordered the truffle mac and cheese (5/5), the grilled asparagus (4/5 - nothing special), and the whipped mashed potatoes with gravy (4/5). In conclusion, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the city for the first time or wanting an intimate night with your friends or partner!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Chop House, and I can confidently say it was a standout experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, and the menu offers a well-curated selection that showcases both creativity and culinary precision. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Nicko. In an era where hospitality can sometimes feel transactional, Nicko reminded us what true service looks like: intuitive, gracious, and deeply human. I would return for the food alone, but I’d especially come back for the service. If you visit, ask for Nicko—you’ll be in the best hands.

   The food was amazing, our server Jose did a great job explaining the menu and recommended some great options. The entire staff was on point. Not very many options for kids but we all ate well and had a great time.

   We were in town to see La La Land at the Auditorium, which was wonderful, and was capped off with a perfect dinner at Chicago Chophouse. Iiayna took care of us from the start by welcoming us, asking about our day, coaching us through drink selection’s, appetizers, and entree options. She and the Chophouse team were superb and the steaks were the best we’ve had from high end steakhouses. Thanks Iiayna and team!
