Chicago Cut Steakhouse is one of Chicago’s most iconic dining experiences in a city that boasts dozens of options for steak-centric dining. Our downtown Chicago steakhouse offers guests a selection of signature, USDA-certified prime beef that is hand-cut and dry-aged on site. Our curated menu also features fish, shellfish, chops and a selection of unique side dishes and appetizers. In addition to delicious martinis and specialty cocktails, Chicago Cut offers a wine list with more than 600 bottles that has been highlighted Wine Spectator, the world’s leading authority on wine. Our dining area features a lively bar scene, vibrant red velvet banquettes and spacious dining tables, private dining options and beautiful, sweeping views of the Chicago River. In the warm months, we also open our sprawling outdoor dining patio, which makes Chicago Cut an excellent spot for an outdoor brunch, lunch or dinner reservation along the river.

    Our entire experience was exceptional - from before dinner drinks in the bar to dinner in the dining room! Our table was perfect - alongside the windows overlooking the Chicago river…. at this time of year, with all the decorations and lights, it was a stunning view. The hostess, bartender and our server were amazing, contributing to an unforgettable evening! I plan on writing a note to the manager tomorrow regarding their courtesy, attentiveness and professionalism. Oh, by the way, our meal was superb!

    The food was exceptional, as always. We brought some friends for their first time and they raved about it. Our server, Matthew DeRosa was phenomenal! Super attentive, took the time to explain the different cuts of meat, was funny and overall just a delight!

    I’m from Kansas City, where excellent beef is plentiful and expectations are high. My filet and my wife’s Delmonico steaks were the best we have ever eaten. They were cooked perfectly, the sear was world class, and the flavor was unequaled. The service was very attentive and professional. How I wish there was a “Kansas City Cut”.

    This was a pre-theatre lunch. Everything was splendid. We had a great waiter, the brunch menu was perfect for us, and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. We’ll be back.
