   Very comfortable and appealing surroundings. Off to a great start. However, our server was indifferent and inattentive. Food was average for the price. Soggy frites. Fish was over priced. Sorry, would not recommend.

   Consistently good local favorite. I love that they are open late, as a classy after-event spot. Booked a quiet table for business dinner and, as-always, enjoyed the cozy basement seating. Food and drinks were great. Our server, Emily, was especially great, allowing us a long dinner, and solicitous service without disrupting. She was perfect. My favorite menu item of all time was the Frisée aux Lardons salad, which had a beautiful smoky flavor and delicate dressing. I love that slad so much I have ordered two. Please bring this back in its original form (original dressing) ASAP.

   The special was excellent and so was the service was also excellent and very friendly. This is one of our favorite places. The only suggestion we have is that they update their chairs. They are not very comfortable and not easy on the back.

   Loved our server, Emily. However, restaurant does not keep up their website or fb page. Went expecting cassoulet and the server told us haven't had that dish in a while. While the doneness of the dishes were correct, the combinations (confit duck with egg noodles and doused with gravy) and the seasoning was a little lacking.

   Our party of 7 dined at Circa 1875 last night. The decor at the restaurant has a whimsical, fun flair. We were able to enjoy conversation at our table without loud background noise from other tables which was wonderful! Emily, our server, was excellent- knowledgable and personable. We especially enjoyed the octopus appetizer, Bouillabaisse, the pork over white beans, and the red velvet cheesecake. We had a terrific experience at this restaurant.

   True five star. The steak!!! Incredible piece of meat. So flavorful. The onion soup was great. The boule base was flavorful and not too salty. Drinks were so good. In a city of great food, this one was the best.

   The food and server were fantastic!!! The only drawback was that it took nearly an hour to receive our food. Even with that we would return

   The service was classless. If you want to sit and enjoy company and food, this is not your spot. We were rushed the whole time and when we asked for more time to decide, they gave 2 mins tops, so eager to flip the table. The food with the exception of the steak frites was flavorless. The French onion soup was watery with a few chunks cheese not even broiled, just floating atop. The boullibaze was $45 for extremely cheap quality of overcooked shrimp and shriveled mussels in a flavorless broth with uncooked floating cherry tomatoes. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, ambience is very cute but one of the most overrated restaurants I’ve experienced in Savannah.

   This was my 2nd trip to Savannah and dining at Circa 1875. It is an exquisite place to dine. Service is impeccable. The food is delicious and presented beautifully for any foodie. One feels like they are in France when dining here. A must when in Savannah. Bon Appetit
