   Lawren is our outstanding server. We had the wine and pasta special. It was a great value and we love coming to this amazing restaurant with the fireplaces. Views. And amazing architecture.

   Service was good. Unfortunately, Cesar salad and salmon were extremely salty. The waiter was great and took both salmon entrees off the bill. The bison short rib and beet & pumpkin salad were very good.

   Very happy with the meal food was delicious, all staff were friendly and professional. Went to the ice bar after which was awesome. Great experience

   I was really looking forward to the Prime Rib Special that is promoted for Sunday nights. Having read reviews that said the Prime Rib had run out the previous week at 6:45 pm, I chose to book early so I wouldn't run into the same problem. No such luck. How do you offer a 'special' and then run out at 6:15? Ridiculous. Even worse than my disappointment was the position the server was put in having to apologize all night to expectant customers. She did a great job and made up for the management's poor performance. Get it together RCR.

   The food came before our drinks, but that was fine because we were hungrier than thirsty. Our appetizers were room temp at best, but they tasted great. Just wish it was a little warmer. Pesto gnocchi was okay. Sauce was bland but it was crispy on the outside and fluffy like a cloud on the inside. Would dine here again.

   Cirque is the only restaurant open late (to 9.00pm) during the week at Fernie Ski Resort. It is fine dining, and the prices tend to match that. As it is up market, when we were there, it was only half full. The food though is an interesting mix and it was tasty. The wine menu did have alot of US wines, and was low on Canadian offerings.

    My wife and I booked for a 6:45 special evening to order the Prime Rib special. I would have booked an earlier sitting; however that time was the only one available. We had actually booked days in advance, and looked forward with great anticipation to the evening. As we were settling in to order our drinks the waitress informed us that they were out of the Prime Rib special. Unbelievable. How can the managers not anticipate, based upon the bookings, that folks will be ordering the special dinner? I gently, or so I hope, expressed my annoyance with the waitress. More importantly, we voted with our feet and left. As we did so, two of our friends were seated close by. They, too, had come for the special dinner. So the message to The Cirque is for the managers to do what managers do. Run a business that meets the needs of its client base.
