   We enjoyed our dinner at City Grocery— this was my first time visiting and I will be back! The Roasted Jalapeño BBQ rangoons.. OH MY! Perfection- as far as appetizer goes. For entrees, I had the server’s suggested favorite - the tomahawk pork chop. The meal was delightful, but my one concern was the fact that part of my pork chop was rare to med rare, which is unsafe for consumption, so I only ate 2/3 of my meal for that reason. My fiancé had the shrimp and grits— which is what Marianne (server) said the place was known for. My fiancé enjoyed the meal, and she was happy about Marianne’s great service, attentiveness, and providing us with great suggestions for our meal. Marianne was spectacular during our visit. She made us feel welcome and took care of our meal promptly and in a time limit (because we had a show to catch). I will be back for sure!

   Fantastic meal at a restaurant I have heard about for years. Service outstanding, menu very diverse and was able to share several items with the table and it was all fantastic.

    Our waitress was rushing us so much even after I politely told her that she wouldn’t have to tend to our table that much because we were there enjoying our meals/ appetizers etc slowly. She really didn’t get the hint and it made it seem like a fast food joint rather than a nice restaurant.
