A new generation of Italian cuisine - fresh, light and authentic. By using proper cooking techniques, our flavors are natural and pure. Our menu is a homage to our region Calabria and southern Italian roots reflecting what is being served in Italy today. You can also find an extensive vegan menu that incorporates many of the best Italian dishes. We have been the first restaurant in the USA to have a full Italian Vegan menu since 2015! We believe in sustainability, both in our food and in the design of our restaurant. While our menu focuses on locally grown and seasonal ingredients, our bar and dining areas were created using reclaimed, natural materials. Nothing goes to waste at Civico 1845!

    The place is very cute, nice location, staff were friendly and really great. Food was delicious (though mine needed a little salt). Overall first experience was quite good. We’ll be going again to try more dishes for sure.

    To begin there is zero parking! Now to the food- mediocre at best.we started with fried calamari, three shrimp and two teeny pieces of zucchini with a garlic mayonnaise . A piece of calamari was rancid and I spit it out quickly!! Next a chicken cutlet with a little red sauce, cheese arugula salad and thin potatoes at least that’s what is on the menu - what I received was a fried chicken cutlet which was rubbery a very odd texture, sauce and cheese, arugula salad and big chunks of more deep fried potatoes!! Was very disappointed. My husband ordered a pasta rigatoni, olives, garlic , capers and tomato delicious! Service is scattered and disjointed! Prices average-I must say what’s really strange about this place is an in order to make a reservation. They asked for your credit card why I’ll never know.

    Delicious! I was excited to see not one or two vegan options, but a full menu! Everything tasted like they were crafted with care. I went with the server recommendations for appetizer, entree, and dessert; they did not disappoint.

    Might have been a bad night. Our server was lovely, but the bread was stale and reheated and the pasta was gummy. Great location
