   Wonderful service from Brandy. The starter salad we shared was delicious. My crab cakes were scrumptious. My wife’s filet was practically rare vs. medium. Re-fired but by time it came back to table I was done with my entree and my wife’s truffle fries were stone cold. Had kitchen issues last time we dined here. Another table nearby also had a kitchen issue. Wonderful atmosphere but was loud as one guy talked incessantly at a high volume. Wine list needs improvement.

   Shrimp Cobb Salad was delicious, even though the plate had an over-abundance of lettuce. Bread pudding desert was great but discovered a hair in the desert which caused me to cease eating. Garden Room is a great setting. Wait service is excellent. Parking is generally a nightmare.

   Our server was cheerful and prompt. The food was delicious. We have always enjoyed the various entries, for lunch or dinner. The food varies by the season and is delicious.

    Was there for lunch on a snowy day and the burning fireplaces made it so cozy. The she crab soup was fantastic and a must have for me. Had the quiche of the day and it was delicious but so large I had to take part of it home. I have never been disappointed at Clare’s..from service, ambience and the food it is always top notch.
