I had the grouper, and my husband had the filet. Both meals were perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. We always visit Clayton’s when we visit Siesta Key. The food and service are consistently good. Don’t miss their key lime pie!

Claytons Siesta Grill was the best meal we've had in Siesta Key. Service was very good, food delicious!! The wonderful seafood chowder wasn't salty, but full of good fish bites, shellfish and veggies in a thick and creamy sauce. Mahi mahi tacos are very flavorful. Crab cake contained mostly crab meat with very little filler. For those not into seafood, the mac and cheese was creamy goodness. Their hamburgers are cooked perfectly, served with terrific lightly battered, crispy french fries. Drinks from the bar were refreshing and well served! Go, you won't be sorry!!

Loved the fact you had a vegan option for one of our party and it was really good!!!! Would love it if you had fried shrimp.

We have been to Clayton’s several times while on vacation in Siesta Key, the food has always been outstanding today the food was good. Not so much because of the quality, only the quantity. I ordered the scallops and the gnocchi, and got a very small portion, only three medium size scallops. When I mentioned it to the server, they brought me extra gnocchi.

We had a wonderful dinner at Clayton’s. The food was amazing and came out piping hot. The service made the experience that much more enjoyable. Samantha was very sweet and attentive. We can’t wait to come back.

The fish special, whahoo was over cooked and dry. The supposedly sauce was nonexistent. We also had pan fried grouper which was overcooked as well burned on the bottom. It was so darn dry. I’m sorry to report this but just being honest.

Honestly I have to say our entire party was disappointed. We had heard so many good things and definitely expected more. Drinks were nothing special. Manhattans didn’t even have cherries. Crab cakes were too wet. Calamari was good. Salmon was good, my scallops and gnocchi was plated without a single gnocchi. They brought them when I asked and apologized, offering me a dessert, but at that point I wasn’t interested. Chicken was tough and short ribs were lackluster. It wasn’t that it was bad, but there are just so many better options. Always happy to try a new place, and this had been on our radar for quite a while, but I doubt we’ll return.
