   Very nice restaurant with delicious food. We enjoyed the meal and one of the cocktails. Great place for a date night and you will love the food.

   Food was amazing! Service was spectacular!! Our server Janelle was very attentive and knowledgeable. She took great care of us! Baked Goat cheese app was delicious and the Halibut special was cooked to perfection!! Always a delightful experience at Coastal Grill!

   Always consistently wonderful. Thank you Coastal Grill for being a staple in Virginia Beach for so long and for accommodating allergies and skipping the seed oils upon request.

   We arrived on time for our group’s reservation & we were immediately seated. We had an outstanding server who went over the menu options & started our order. Our server was constantly checking in with us & made sure our orders were placed to our satisfaction. All in all just great food & service. We hope to return soon!

   Fabulous to dine here for the first time. Waitstaff was thin, so we didn’t receive the very best service. Food was wonderful and we will be back!

   Reservation was not as requested. I asked for a quiet area to sit next to each other for our anniversary and the teenagers that sat us brought us to a two top in the middle of the room next to a super loud group. When I asked to be moved to one of the many open tables, that were open the entire night, she told me no. I asked if they even read the reservation request that was put in weeks ago and she refused to answer. Sad because we love this place! Never again for a special night.

   Fantastic. My friend and I got the Halibut, and my wife and friends wife got the crab cakes. We all raved about the food and whole experience for the rest of the night. Never had any better. Our waitress was knowledgeable, fun, and very attentive. Exceptional!

   We've had dinner at Coastal Grill many times and have been quite satisfied. This event, an anniversary, was not as pleasing as many in the past. We both ordered scallops, and while they were prepared very well, our portions were of different sizes, and the accompanying roasted potatoes were a very small portion on both plates. We've long wondered why the acorn squash is a required part of the meal. We would rather see a better selection of sides made available. Coastal Grill has a nice atmosphere and our server did a great job for us.

    Nice to arrive in the rain and the valet arrived with an umbrella. The hostess was hospitable and friendly. Server Jonell was knowledgeable and professional. The mussels were well prepared with flavorful herbs and just enough heat. The soups; bean with ham and the hatwras chowder were amazing!! We enjoyed leg of lamb. duck and halibut for our main course. Each accompanied witj acorn squash. The only complaint was there was too much brown sugar and butter where the squash was overly sweet. We enjoyed oir courses with a nice bottle of Malbec. It was a first visit and not the last. Jonell our server was amazing. We will be back and hope to have her as our server again.
