The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    Our waiter was professional, very helpful in making recommendations and presentation of our meals was exceptional along with the quality of the food. Make reservations due to the popularity of this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

    It was a wonderful experience and frequent visits have been a family tradition for 5 generations. Never disappoints. Excellent food, service and ambiance!

    Waiter not super attentive though he tried at points to be such. Forgot certain items and he was bit rude when a child in the group seemingly older than 12 asked for nuggets.

    We come here every time we go to Tampa. It is so busy and such an iconic restaurant. Food is fantastic and service is as well. We always look forward to the Cuban sandwich and the signature salad.

    Huge portions! The tableside 1905 salad is a must. So simple in gradients but 10/10 taste. My son and I had the shrimp appetizer in garlic butter. So good! And they give each person their own personal bread and butter upon sitting down.

    We have dined at this specific location on many occasions and always had a wonderful experience from start to finish. This time however was terrible. The service was an epic failure. It was one hour before we even had a piece of bread to eat. The appetizers were cold by the time they arrived at our table. We saw the tray traveling around the room to several different tables before heading back in the kitchen. After 15 mins they finally arrived at our table. Cold of course , so I sent them back. Our waters weren’t refilled. Our tableside salad was a failure because the server spilled half of the dressing on the tray before it could make it in our salad. We requested a new one. It took 20 mins to get our drinks. I spoke to the manager about the issues and he did send new appetizers and salad. If this was my first experience I would never come back. But since all of my other experience were stellar I will return because this was not the norm. The food was outstanding as usual.
