The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

A classic throwback and local gem. Upon entering you are taken back to a family restaurant, large bed and breakfast ambiance. We were greeted by the fireplace upon arrival. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Menu had a variety of everything, food was delicious. We ordered the famous chicken pot pies and they tasted like home cooking. Would definitely go back

The value is great, but even when I didn’t think it could get better, restaurant week made it that much sweeter. The food from the appetizers to the dessert were absolutely incredible. I will definitely be back and would love to take family and friends along to share the wonderful experience that we had.

Clams and bisque were great. Enjoyed our mains which were an ample portion and the Key-lime pie though different was delicious. Our server Carrie was kind, informative and attentive.

We dined here for restaurant week. I started with the house salad. It was fresh and delicious!! Then I had the Chicken Française-EXCELLENT! Brought half the dinner home, and packed up the dessert too (which later was amazing!). My husband had the soup of the day, Cream of Chicken with Mushrooms and Wild Rice, and let me have a taste! Incredible! He followed it with Penne a la Vodka which he loved and also brought half home. It was a great buy, but we will go back even when restaurant week is over. YUM! Oh and Joanne our server was friendly and attentive! She gets 5 stars too!
