Probably one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at in a while. The food was excellent. The service exceptional and the ambience first rate. We were with a group of 5 and I speak for all when I say this. The icing on the cake was when Philip, the Chef, came out to the table and talked with us. It was truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant, in the Marriott at Sanibel.

We had a wonderful experience. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, as ordered. The portions were very large. We ordered two sides to share & should have ordered one. We were checked on by various staff members, including the Chef, throughout our meal. Afterwards, we went to the beautiful bar & were debating an after dinner drink when Chef Phillip appeared with a plate filled with different dessert samples for us to try! It was such a great end to a wonderful dinner. We will definitely return!

Overall a nice meal with good service. Wine list a little weak by the glass. Salad was a little dry with not enough dressing. Goat cheese put on a thin bread that was not toasted enough, rather than on the salad. Steak cooked perfectly. My husband liked the au poivre but it was not traditional and had an herb in it that overwhelmed the taste of the au poivre. Potatoes very good. Dessert list limited. Overall, we went for the steak which was delicious.

My husband and I ate dinner here while visiting Fort Meyers thinking it was fine dining. We both ordered the filet mignon, one medium and the other medium well. Both arrived at our table charred which neither of us like, and were tough to cut. The brussel sprouts were extremely large and tasteless. The scalloped potatoes were dry. And for some reason, the bottle of wine that we chose was supposed to be $70 but we got charged $195. Who does that? We will never eat there again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone either.

Horrible, I literally made a reservation to sit next to the window to have a nice view and they didn’t even save the table. I literally wait for the host for 25 min and nobody greet us at the entrance. Finally the host came and she wanted to sit us in a table far away from the window and she didn’t ask if a made a reservation. I said to the host that I was having a reservation with specifications and the host wants me to wait more time for a table to open and to cleaned. So finally we wait for more that 40 min for a table even do I made the reservation with time and they didn’t even care about it. With a bad attitude and the host sit us at the table so she can move to other people. They were under staff the whole time.

This restaurant suffered from two major issues: 1. the restaurant was severely understaffed. There were 3-4 serves who were also bussing tables, tending bar and running food. There was one hostess who was bussing tables. There was no manager in sight and no bartender. This meant 90 minutes before the food was served. It took a full 30 minutes to get water and rolls came about 10 minutes after that. 2. The food was abysmal. I would say hospital quality at best. The filet mignon was tough with no seasoning except a flavorless steak sauce on top. They just as well had served it with ketchup. The asparagus was soggy without any seasoning whatsoever. The truffle macaroni and cheese was simply overcooked elbow macaroni in a milky bechamel with very little cheese (if any) and the truffle completely absent. We also ordered seared scallops which were not seared at all. They had no caramelization but at least were no over cooked or rubbery. The prices are standard steakhouse prices which is acceptable if the quality of the food is to par. It was not. You can get a better steak at Outback, which does not say much, in my humble opinion.

We were on time for our reservation and were seated right away. It took almost 25 minutes for our server to come to our table. She brought water. She came back a few minutes later to take our drink order. Drinks came back fairly quickly, and we orders an appetizer and our entrees…. Nearly 35 minutes to get our appetizer, which was 2 thick cut pieces of bacon for $17…. 2 pieces of bacon for $17 bucks.. We both ordered the filet Oscar. We had to ask for bread twice…. Finally, the food came out after another long wait. One filet was prepared right, but the other was way overdone. All in all, for a $265 dinner for two (not including tip), we were underwhelmed by the very slow service and mediocre quality food for the price… We will pass next time we’re in town…

I can not think of a worst dinning experience. We were not served our dinner for 2 hours. Once the steak arrived it had to be returned because it was well done as opposed to medium rare. The lobster was undercooked. The wait staff told us they were doing the best they could - they were very understaffed. The set menu was not priced correctly. The wait staff said that all the guests were upset. Management gets an F.
