Visiting from California and always an amazing experience! Andy our server was amazing and explained every menu option ingredient thoroughly and it was all delicious. Plus if you like martinis the nitro martini (they call it the naked martini) is heavenly! Highly recommend everything there!

Excellent food and service. I was alone and had made a reservation in advance. When I arrived I was escorted to the bar which was absolutely fine with me. I don’t know if that is a routine practice and while I was quite happy to eat there I’m guessing that there are solo diners who would prefer a table.

The menu had some very interesting items. Three dishes were tepid at best. Nice place but not up to the price. A very pretentious wine list probably influenced my overall opinion.

We traveled all day Monday, and I made Coyote our first dinner reservation. The restaurant wasn't as hopping on a Monday night but I was eager to see the new menu from Dakota Weiss. We started with the green chile bisque which was outstanding. The venison tartar was exquisite with flowers and herbs. I didn't know what the dark sauce was on the side but saw it was a tomatillo reduction on Dakota Weiss Instagram. Ths Chilean Sea Bass was perfect. We paired it with a Hess cab. In hindsight next time I'd like to sit at the counter and watch the chef.

Coyote Cafe is a perfect example of upscale Southwestern dining. The ambiance is sophisticated yet comfortable. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, sea bass, and lobster tails. Service was attentive and the owner made us feel special. A must-visit for fine dining in Santa Fe.

I enjoyed talking with our waiter Mark about the history of the restaurant and the original chef and owner Mark Miller. Great shared experiences and knowledge. Not the same restaurant it was back in 1988, but a great experience in its own right. We enjoyed dining there.

One of the most magnificent dining experiences we’ve ever had. The menu was eclectic and brought together so many incredible flavors. The elk tenderloin and sea bass were exquisite.
