   Our server was really good. I like I didn't have to pack my own leftovers. Something I appreciate being done for me. Our server was extremely friendly calm and happy

   We dined here after attending Vertigo’s “A Killing at La Cucina”. The restaurant offered a generous discount to theatre attendees, so it was particularly good value! I had the salmon and found it delicious, but it would be very much overpriced at $36 without the discount. The same was true of the burrata appetizer at $27. Service was attentive, water glasses refilled. A mixup with our order meant a slight wait for my entree, and resulting confusion with our bills did delay our departure. Perhaps our server was new to the job and will improve as she gains experience. We would go to the restaurant again, perhaps for lunch or breakfast.

   Food was good Service was friendly and excellent except when it came to paying the bill. Our server Sydney got busy setting another table when she knew we had theatre tickets and had to go.

   We were quickly seated at a quiet spot and our waiter explained the menu options. He knew were had a limited timeframe for dinner so offered some guidance on ordering. He was attentive to our drinks, refreshing or refilling as required. The food was flavourful with fresh garnishes and in a simple presentation. The dish was delicious as were the other entrees at our table.

    Server ruined everything… Food was good, squid was well done! But it took 1 hour for the entree to come, and meanwhile, server didn’t check in with us once, water was out for 40 mins and we had to beg for “please can we get some water” and she responded with a cold face, not even “sure”
