Best African Restaurants in St. Lawrence Market

Pros: The food, drinks, ambiance and service are exceptional. This is the first African spot where I think they nailed elevating Nigerian food to be universally palatable, while giving reverence its cultural preparation. Food presentation was well executed too. Everything we tried was a 10 out of 10. The servers are sweet and very accommodating. The music was a mosaic of the best the continent had to offer. Cons: The tables are too low for dining. The smoke machine used in the club stage of the evening must be destroyed! We could barely breathe and woke up congested. It added nothing. The food came out of the kitchen a bit disjointed for a table of 7 people, but the quality made up for that. Overall: Highly recommended! We had a fabulous evening of food, drinks, afrobeats and dancing.

We so enjoyed the decor and atmosphere, it felt like a travel experience without leaving the country. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We shared two shareables🤗 The platter contained enjoyable flavours. The salad was fresh and tasty. Another unique feature was the drinking glass that was on a lean. We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful day at the museum. Even if you don’t have time to explore the museum coming to the restaurant is well worth the trip.

The owner ‘E’, was present at the time I arrived with a close friend. There was an issue with my initial reservation booked for 4pm. ‘E’ immediately fixed the error, he was attentive, apologetic, understanding, welcoming and shared the history of the African/Italian concept. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful and neat. The staff are nice and engaging. Would recommend this place for girls night out, party of 6 or less, date night, as well as family outting! Keep up the great work. Very lovely
