- SStephanieAsheville / Western North Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI had a very lovely afternoon tea experience. I would rate all of the food five stars except for the savory bites. They were all a little on the dry side and could’ve been more flavorful. The scones and the sweets were perfect. More infoWillard Peacock Alley TeaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown•4.6

- CCynthiaNew York City •30 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe entire high tea experience was perfect and ideal. Everything was perfect! The foods outstanding. The tea selection was so many it was hard to choose from. We each were satisfied with our selections and recommendations from our server. It was a wonderful afternoon and I would highly recommend this for a special afternoon with friends and family. Plus they have a no cell phone use policy. It was nice quiet conversations, exactly how dining out should be. Thank you to everyone who made our cold afternoon a delight.More infoKingbird at The Watergate HotelPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Foggy Bottom•4.2
- AAndreaHouston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025We had a really excellent server, Deepak. The food was delicious and there was a choice of seating to be quiet or more in the flow of the restaurant. Would definitely do it again.More infoWillard Tea RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Washington•4.7
- AAnthonyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025At $120 a person without a tip, this was a treat for me and my family. I'd only booked it because I had seen that the experience also came with a white house ornament and I was disappointed to see that they no longer include this as a benefit. Moreover, they seated our group right by the main entrance to the hotel, which would be fine had it not been winter and being met with a rush of frigid air every single time someone entered or left the hotel (which happened without fail at least 1-2 times every five minutes). A member of our group even wore her heavy winter coat the entire time because it was so cold where we were seated. Finally, at times the wait staff was nowhere to be found, so there were a handful of times throughout the evening when I needed new silverware or waters and had to wait an unusually long amount of time. The space is stunning but this is absolutely not worth the expense or the physical discomfort and inattentive service.More infoThe St Regis DC - Afternoon teaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown•4.4
