- NNicoleBaton Rouge / Lafayette •1 review5.0Dined todayThis is was my 3rd experience. We were celebrating my mom’s and Nanny’s birthdays (their first experiences). We were a little underwhelmed with the drink menu. There wasn’t any other drink menu available for us either. The staff seemed a little less friendly than what I’ve experienced previously, however the lovely girl who took care of refilling our water (can’t remember her name) was so so sweet and gracious! The food was gorgeously plated, but we were a little underwhelmed with the veal Parmesan and the Sergrura Cut Filet. The Chilean SeaBass and the Burnt End Short Ribs were BY FAR the best things ever! We felt like the head waiter kept hovering and pressuring us to order when we were really just trying to enjoy ourselves and catch up on a special occasion since we don’t see each other very often anymore. I understand you pay for the ambience and that’s fine. The place is gorgeous. And it’s perfect for special occasions! I do wish there was a little more lighting in the bathroom. I stumbled due to poor lighting, but was thankfully ok. Also, the bathroom attendants are amazing! The last time I visited SC I required assistance with unzipping and rezipping my jumpsuit in the bathroom and the woman was like “Yeah, girl, I got you!” Everyone was so professional, but the head waiter came off as “fake friendly and professional.” And I highly recommend going once just for the experience. But if you go too many times it loses its appeal. Also, the dress code appeared WAY more laxed as to what I’ve seen previously. Overall, go for the experience. Go with an open mind and enjoy yourself. It’s not an everyday treat, but worth it in the end! I’m sure we’ll be back in a couple of years.More infoSupper Club BTRPrice: Very Expensive• American• Baton Rouge•4.8

- AAnnVIPBaton Rouge / Lafayette •71 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is a quality, very fine dining restaurant. The Caesar salad is outstanding. The lobster Gnocchi was not great. It was mushy. There were lots of interesting things to try. I will go back. My friend ordered striped bass, and she loved it. I want to try the Lounge. It looked very cozy, and the menu had much lighter food. Don't bring a bottle of your wine. The corkage fee is outrageous.More infoThe Colonel's ClubPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Baton Rouge•4.5
