What a view on this clear night! Service, from valet, hostess, coat room, food runner, waiter, table clearer between courses all were friendly, knew the answers about menu and were all professional, warm and friendly. I cannot say enough about the menu, our salads and entree followed by shared dessert were plated beautifully, seasoned to perfection, and a delicious blend of flavors. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a diverse menu that would satisfy all in your party.

Alright, buckle up, because I’m about to spill the beans on Matisse 167 in East Rutherford. This isn’t just dining—it’s a full-blown gourmet experience that hits you in the taste buds like a symphony of flavors orchestrated by food gods. From the moment we sat down, the staff was next-level exceptional, anticipating every need like they had a crystal ball. Keith, our server, was the MVP, making sure everything was flawless. Seriously, this guy must moonlight as a mind reader or something. And then there’s Greg—the chef. Oh man, this dude’s not just a chef; he’s an artist with a side of wizardry. He came out into the dining room, checking on everyone like a culinary superhero. By the time we finished our four-course Michelin-star-level meal, all I wanted to do was shake this guy’s hand and thank him for putting together a dining experience that went way beyond anything I could’ve dreamed up. Every bite was like winning the flavor lottery. Pro tip: it’s BYOB, so grab a bottle (or three) of your favorite wine and prepare to have your culinary socks knocked off. The food and service were great. The bread was nice and warm. We has the crab augratin and the Q'tal salad as appetizers and it was delicious. I had a pinot grio and my friend hasbthebberry passion which she said was delicious. As entrees, we had the half chicken and salmon dishes and it did not disappoint. For dessert er had tiramimus and Brule with cappuccino. The desserts was great. I thought the cappuccino was not hot. It was warm. And the was the only issue but I still enjoyed it. Overall, it was a great experience. Loved it.

Excellent carhop service. Meal was served hot and the order correct. Given all condiments and extra napkins.
