Best American Restaurants in Charlotte

This was my first visit here. I absolutely enjoyed all aspects of our evening. We started at the bar, walked around outside, breathtaking, and then had dinner inside. They accommodated my food allergies perfectly and were very friendly. Love it.

Parking: The restaurant had construction around it so it was difficult to see valet parking was available. Had I seen it was, I would’ve used it instead of spending time parking but once we got on the in restaurant it was a little busy but we were able to check into our reservation and were seated no more than 5 minutes for our table. Overall Experience: The restaurant was what I expected, dimly lit and had a very imitate feel to it. Our server Christian was very attentive and professional and our meals exceeded our expectations. Every thing they brought out was piping hot and even the manger came by our table greeted us and she even brought me other cocktail upon me simple stating to her “I could use another drink” Conclusion: yes. I would absolutely recommend this location as well come back for another visit to try their other menu items

We decided to do Valentines a day later since we had to work on actual Valentine’s Day. We booked for a 4:30 reservation (the latest they had until 8pm. Which was totally fine. We arrived at 4:20 and had our car valeted since there isn’t street parking. Walked in, were greeted right away- seated and within two minutes our server greeted us with water. He took our cocktail order then told us about their Rendezvous for Two deal, which included an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $55. Our drinks arrived quickly and the app followed within a couple of minutes. We did the Pimento Cheese Dip which was great. Then I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife did the Salmon with Creamy Quinoa. Both portions were great (so much so that I couldn’t finish all mine). We got our dessert to go since we were both stuffed from the large portions. We got the Pecan Pie and oh my goodness it was delicious. Our server was great and super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This was out second time visiting and we were NOT disappointed! First, commendable professionalism at the entrance and throughout service! 👏🏽 We had the fried green tomatoes and crab cakes for appetizers; my wife ordered the blackened salmon for her entree, with mac n cheese, and I tried the fish and grits. 🤤 Portions are always giving, and food was amazing!! 🤩 Music was just a bit loud and at times, hard to talk over. “However Comma” - the curated playlist gave us all the vibes, so we weren’t mad at all. 🎶 Service was absolutely on point (thank you Calissa!)! 🙏🏽 Definitely recommend! 🙌🏽

Festive atmosphere, Valentine's Day, but not devoted solely to couples. A lot of us were dining preshow. I saw several families. Food was great. They brought us an "extra" plate of roasted brussel sprouts to try and they were awesome. Great wine selection with some reasonable options
