Best American Restaurants in Downtown Cleveland / Playhouse Square

Excellent dinner. The restaurant has become great. One of the best spots to impress someone over dinner.

District was a great experience! Customer service was amazing. I appreciate them staying open to serve us! If you are in the playhouse square district stop in. The calamari was AMAZING! Fried to perfection and tasty. Looking forward to going again and telling everyone who will listen. Might just go back today. Truly appreciative for them serving us🫶🏾.

Super cute venue with a good variety of dinners and cocktails. The dessert was fabulous!!!

Not what was expected. 8 ounce fillet was sent back and I guess warmed and returned to my girlfriend. A simple push w a fork it was clear the steak was medium on 2nd try. Cook 50 to 100 at a time for events and steak is easy to tell temp. Waitress even should see it but it is food runners. They should know. No quality control for that steak. She cut it open and it was again slightly more then medium with solid pink and able to pushed down hard w a fork. I was not so nice about comments asking if they needed some help to cook it. Two baked potatoes both not completely cooked granted massive. Give me a smaller cooked baked 🥔 if needed. Not really impressed. The Cleveland location did give girlfriend a new steak. She ate 4 bites of her undercooked steak and took the new steak home to undoubtedly be tossed away. What a nice night effect by a main item on dish. I would be embarrassed as a fine steakhouse. Service was good. Time for meal was 6:30 to leaving around 9:30...no alcohol, 1 appetizer. 6 people. As my 19 year old daughter said "mid" 4 out of 5 stars is generous.
