The choices of cocktails/wine were superb. We chose sushi and Caesar salad to share! Both were fantastic in flavor and freshness! All the staff were friendly and attentive! Manager checked on us also! Of course the view was phenomenal! Live Hawaiian singer would be appreciated if offered.

Our Macadamia Nut crusted Mahimahi was very tasty! The beet/mixed green salad was also very good! Biscuits fresh and buttery. The only downside was that the host at the door never smiled once at us, even when we first arrived. In fact, he looked annoyed that I asked to be seated inside the restaurant after initially reserving an outdoor table. He checked his seating chart and instead of telling us that it was possible to be seated indoors, he didn't say a word. He just had another person lead us to the table which to my pleasant surprise, was indoors. You don't want a person at the front entrance greeting you the way he did. Makes you wonder what kind of service you will receive for the rest of the night

We always love our food and time at Monkeypod! It was a rainy night and we didn’t get to sit by the window which is always a bummer but overall it is always a favorite.
