Recommended: the carnitas plate, the brisket plate and the pork tacos. Both plates have a 1/2 portions option and seriously, 2 people could easily split even the 1/2 plate if you order and appetizer, too. The guacamole is good - but we found it needed salt or more acid. Im sure that's just a personal preference. The carajillo cocktail is sneaky and so easy to drink. Our friend got the churro cheesecake and devoured it. Our server, Tommie was sweet and attentive. The only suggestion we could make has nothing to do with the food. The live music is great however it was extremely loud and we had a hard time communicating with each other over dinner. We may have stayed a little longer and had a few more cocktails if the music volume was just a bit lower. Keep the music but maybe start it later in the evening or be aware of the volume.More infoNoche Mexican BBQPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Highlands - Bardstown Rd / Taylorsville Rd•4.4

The complementary rolls with tallow butter were delicious. My husband got the filet. He said it was good, nothing super special but still delicious and no complaints. Staff was very friendly and attentive.More infoSteak & Bourbon - DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Louisville•4.8

They serve it warm with butter. I had the shrimp and halibut cheeks with polenta. Michael had the steak with crab. His meal came with a macaroni cake which was delicious. Michael’s steak was cooked perfectly and my meal was wonderful. Reasonable priced for an upscale restaurant! After our dinner we sat at the bar and had an after dinner drink!More infoRiver House Restaurant & Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Louisville•4.7

We showed up for brunch and didn't realize it was not offered on weekdays. She read my disappointment and went above a beyond to ensure I was going to love the experience anyway :). BOY am I glad we stayed. She recommended the French Onion Soup and it was probably the best thing we've had in a long time! Delicious!!! We'll be back, and often! - KKileyCentral Kentucky •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoAwesome restaurant, we had a reservation at 8pm and went an hour early to sit at the bar and have a drink. We were able to find two seats together without issues. Hostess even offered to sit us early if we wished. Once we made our way to the dining room we were greeted by a very nice waitress who went above and beyond to make our experience awesome. Everything we ate was amazing. Will go back, best steakhouse in Louisville.More infoRepeal Oak Fired SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Louisville•4.8
