Best American Restaurants in Highgate

Wonderful afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant was business like but relaxed and welcoming. If only we could have stayed a bit longer to order some more good eats, with good conversation. Definitely will be back to revisit this lovely gourmet experience.

We went to this place because it looked nice and lively from the outside. Upon entering it maintained that ambiance which is a pleasant experience. What lured me was the menu and I was looking for good bar food/bbq. This was authentically really reminding me of American Food, I ordered the sirloin steak. The service was really prompt, friendly and welcoming. Would come back again if I am in the Camden area.

I’ve been to the Arcade Hall many times. It’s great for meeting with friends and family as everyone has the freedom of choosing different cuisines to suit their own taste. Unfortunately the day we went I had requested for us to be seated at a table further inside as the hall was very cold and we were placed near the door. The hostess said that that table was reserved but no one else sat there for the entire time we were there. We were placed close to the door, which was wide open, and right by a plant pot which rendered us invisible to servers. So we did get a little frustrated on the day as we sat with our coats on for 2 hours and had to keep standing up for any server to see us. Shame really.

We all literally laughed from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. It was such a great atmosphere and all of the waiters/ waitresses were brilliant. The food was half bad either, we would definitely recommend the ‘Karen’ experience.

We booked brunch on Bank Holiday Monday and were delighted to find that the restaurant was a small independent business with lots of staff and a great family atmosphere. The service was friendly and they even made me an espresso martini that wasn’t on the menu. Food was all prepared to order and was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s small but has both an upstairs and an outside dinning area. A great find 🥰❤️🥰❤️
