- GgloryaVIPNew York City •46 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a delicious lunch celebrating our long friendship. Starting with a glass of wine, we had the house salad with champagne vinaigrette. Our main course was the steak tip bits, tender and delicious. I especially enjoyed the mixed sautéed vegetables and fingerling potatoes sides. Italian ice cream for desert. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Valentines Day. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. It was a wonderful, leisurely lunch get together. We have dined here before and we will certainly return.More infoScarborough FairPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Manasquan•4.5
- TTomSan Francisco Bay Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was a hidden gem for my wife and I! What an impressive venue! Great ambience. Menu selection was diverse. We had apps, salad, entrees, pasta and dessert. Each dish was better than the previous dish. Nice portions, and very tasty! We will be back, often! - RReganScranton / Poconos •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is my favorite restaurant in NJ. All of their food is so fresh and delicious. Their crab cakes are truly the best I’ve ever had; they’re also gluten free which is rare! Elle was our waitress this evening, she was very sweet and thoughtful. She gave above and beyond service. She also recommended a special I wouldn’t normally order, very glad I listened!More infoBlend on MainPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Manasquan•4.8
- DDonaldNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOverall: The food was excellent, the service impeccable, but the noise level was too high. It was difficult to hear our waiter as he offered up the specials of the day and for him to hear us when we responded. It was also impossible to keep up a conversation with the person sitting next to me due to the noise from several other tables. Atmosphere: I noticed some minimal attention to noise damping was done - small panels on the walls - but the ceiling is too hard a surface with too many reflective angles in it for that small effort to succeed. The only answer is more noise control (there was a reason restaurants used to be carpeted) or spacing out the diners more and having fewer customers in the dining room. Elimination of the glass, or even just drapes, over the front glass storefront windows, would also help. The white tablecloths and napkins are very nice, as was the sparkling glassware and silverware. The table didn't wobble. Prices: Are fair - but high. The food deserved the prices, but be forewarned, a couple will have a hard time leaving without a $150 bill for dinner. We expected it so it didn't put a damper on our wedding anniversary dinner - if we hadn't been forewarned, what appears to be a non-pretentious storefront restaurant, the prices might have been a damper on our celebration. Service: Was well-paced and we were never left wondering where our food was.. Food: I had the pork chop (excellent, and great mustard served with it), and my dining companion had the filet-mignon (excellent, and the sides were great also). Our only disappointment was the dinner roll - it was warm but hard and well past its prime. We'll be back. After our last experience with Brandl in Belmar we need an alternative for fine dining. Brandl kept us waiting 90 minutes after our reservation time before even placing our orders. They vastly overbooked, or allowed un-reserved diners in - whatever it made an early New Years Eve dinner into a late dinner. Not good Chris.More infoPoached Pear BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Point Pleasant Beach•4.9
