Best American Restaurants in Pleasant Hill

I would highly recommend this Prime Rib at The Garden to anyone! From the moment you walk in you will be absolutely amazed by the ambiance of this restaurant. But what really made my experience above and beyond was the service provided. Our server Eris was so friendly and gave us the best recommendations (get the creamed corn and the pear bread pudding!). The food and drinks were all 11/10. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal here ASAP!

This is our 2nd time at BH in 2 weeks and loved it again! This time was extra special as they brought Gluten free Chocolate chip cookies with milk for the GF Birthday girl in our group which was a special touch that doesn't happen anywhere else ...dessert is always something the GF birthday person cannot eat :( Everything was so good the first time that we ordered almost the same again..shrimp lettuce cups, ribs, pork chop, chicken and filet all A+. This time we also ordered artichoke and that was A+ too. Only bummer is a $50 corkage for the 3rd bottle of wine so be aware in advance if you bring your own wine.

My wife didn’t want a big spectacle on her 60th birthday, so we decided to have a quiet lunch at Rooftop. She ordered a salad topped with a grilled salmon. I had the sea bass with risotto, and my daughter had the spicy rigatoni with chicken. We also ordered the shrimp tacos (4 tacos). All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The grilled salmon that came with the salad was cooked just right. The sea bass was as good as and the melted cheese in the risotto was just right and not overpowering the overall flavor of the dish. And my daughter had no complaints on the rigatoni as she cleaned up her plate. And saving the best for last was the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tasted so delicious and fresh that I wished we had more, but with all the food we had, the shrimp tacos outshined them all. And not to forget our server, (I forgot his name God bless his soul) he was very sweet and personable, with a happy demeanor. Hope they pay him well because he was very attentive to our needs. Overall, my wife’s birthday celebration, even though it wasn’t elaborate, it was a very nice experience and we will definitely will come back if we’re in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We only waited about 5 minutes for a table, because we requested a booth. But they quickly tried to accommodate us. The service and food were great. Overall great experience.

Booked for Valentine's Day and they said they couldn't find my reservation. They were not super busy at that moment but they did seat me very quickly and were very happy with the service and food. If you plan to reserve, maybe don't do it on one of the busiest days of the year, they may lose your reservation like they lost mine.
