A perfect pick for our smallish family Thanksgiving dinner. We were stunned by the depth of the menu and the raw bar is probably one of the best I’ve had in a long while. They’ve nailed an elevated menu with comfortable and engaging service in an elegant setting that complements the Philly dynamic - it’s not New York because it doesn’t want to be. Our table lead, Erica, was absolutely amazing, responding to every ask with a yes and here’s something else amazing to go with it. Joe and George were bright spots, making a simple table service and plate clearing an event of their own. Totally and utterly satisfied. We found our new Philly Thanksgiving go-to.

Food was perfect and I'm left dreaming about having seconds just a few hours later. Service was also well above expectation. Belvedere has mastered a perfect dining experience.

We had another "over the top" dining experience at Philly's number one restaurant, Jean Georges. From the moment we entered the downstairs lobby we noticed all the Christmas decorations & how beautiful it looked. When we entered the lobby of the hotel on the 60th floor, the decorations were absolutely jaw dropping and our jaws continued to drop as we entered the bar area & the Sky high lounge. We enjoyed some cocktails at the bar before our dinner. We had such a lovely warm greeting from the hostess who welcomed us back. That really set the tone for the entire evening. While we were waiting for Michael to come over, Sarah, our server from our last dining experience, came over and said hello and gave us another warm greeting. It was like being with old friends and it was really great to see her. Michael, was the perfect gentleman right through dinner maintaining a fine balance between being professional and yet being extremely jovial with us. Our crab dumplings and risotto appetizers were so tasty. The chef got extremely creative with the crab dumplings and it paid off in spades, it was such a unique appetizer. The Seabass, lamb and lobster were all plated so beautifully and had an awesome blend of flavors. The passion chocolate dessert was a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. We still remember the deconstructed German chocolate cake from our last dinner which was the best of all. Each person that came to our table to either deliver the food or clear the table was so respectful and courteous. All in all, the venue, the phenomenal service, quality and taste of the food is simply the best in Philadelphia. THANKS to everyone for making it such another extraordinary evening for us !!!

The ambiance was relaxing and the decor was stupendous! The food was extremely flavorful as we tried the appetizers and no entree. So collard greens, warm beans and chicken lollipops were all prepared magnificently. But we will be returning to try entrees at a later time. The drinks were very tasty, including the mocktail! The service was very attentive but not overwhelming. The level of music was quite unassuming, so conversations were held without any issue.

Was overall good. Sat us at a table that should not have been a table. We were basically on top of another 2-top and in their conversation, and my wife kept turning off the lights accidentally because the light switch was directly behind her head. I had put in the reservation notes that it was my birthday, and it was never mentioned, and I thought where they sat us was not in line with what 2 people celebrating a birthday would want. Brought us Aqua Panna when they asked if we wanted still or sparkling. That always feels like a money-grab gimmick to me. The default should be to offer tap (which is also still). They include a 20% gratuity automatically, which is fine, but good to know going in. We had oysters and a Caesar salad to start, which were very good. My wife got the lobster ravioli special (delicious) and I got a burger. Burger was pretty good. Heavy on the fried onions. I ordered medium and it came out rare/medium rare, but still tasty. Will go back, but probably not for a special occasion.
