We have been enjoying the food and hospitality at Scoma's since childhood (1968 when it opened). The seafood is always fresh and well prepared with interesting side dishes. All types of seating available indoors and out, and they have a very lively bar scene. Great wine selection. And delicious desserts to finish off your visit.More infoScoma's Fisherman's WharfPrice: Expensive• Seafood• North Beach•4.7

- CClaudeVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •106 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoI was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.More infoBarrel House TavernPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sausalito•4.6
- EEmilyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Tosca remains one of my absolute favorites in San Francisco. The space, food, service all excellent. The night we went was Santa Con (ooops) + a huge private birthday party in the back room so it was bonkers, but the team did everything they could to keep it going! Will go back soon.More infoTosca CaféPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Beach•4.7
