Best Barbecue Restaurants in Laguna Beach

Curbside appeal was inviting with optional Valet. Warm outdoor fire place for those waiting, reservation was recognized with special occasion notes that they made a point to recognize. The server was experienced, friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Food was delicious, above average portions. Valentines weekend had live, music easy listening and still able to listen/hold a conversation at the table. I special ordered a cocktail and they accommodated. Overall just a relaxed vibe with great food and incredible service. This was a 200+mile round trip and we can't wait to come back...ty SCG

Kaitlyn was our server ! She was super knowledgeable, cooked our meat to perfection while also serving the rest of her section. Best service staff I’ve had in a long time. All over KBBQ restaurants cannot compare to this place. My husband and I will definitely be coming back . Not only is the meat top quality all the sides complement the meal perfectly. Bonus points the hostess Brianna was super kind and very welcoming even on a busy 3 day weekend.

The food was really good. The service, however, was the shining star of the evening. We had eaten here 15 years ago for a rehearsal dinner for friends. I made the reservation for our valentine's dinner with the same couple that were married 15 years. And I didn't know that this same restaurant was where we were 15 years ago! When I notified the other couple, they were amazed with my memory. But no memory, it was just luck - or divine guidance! We arrived and were seated promptly. Dinner was delicious. But the star of the show was our server, Belen (or maybe spelled 'Belyn' or 'Belin'. Regardless, she took absolute total control, was spot-on with deliverables and requests, and allowed us to have a terrific evening. Flying in from Atlanta for the dinner at this same spot from 15 years ago? Nothing made the night better.

The food and drinks are excellent and priced fairly. The service was outstanding. The server really knew the menu and drinks and was very helpful in suggesting choices. For our group of 5, the server gladly provided us with separate checks.

Since discovering their smoked Prime Rib dinner (Fri-Sun), our frequency of visits has increased only to learn that this favorite may soon be going away. Maybe if they could get the word out they could sell more. Table tents, e-mail, menu inserts, server upsell. Also, we were delighted to have been given a $20 bounce back coupon good on our next visit. Unfortunately, it seems the coupon had already expired Jan 31.
