It's the warm hug you need on a cold night, especially the divine beef stew. But equally delicious in summer when specials highlight fresh, local produce. The wine and beer selections are excellent and not over the top. It's a place to take friends, a date, or your mother. All will be pleased and ask to be invited back.More infoEt VoilaPrice: Expensive• French• Palisades Northwest•4.8

The food was delectable and the smoky taste of the risotto I ate made me feel transported to a meal actually cooked over a campfire. I don’t know how you capture that taste in food, but this place managed. The drinks prepared were not sugary or made me poor quality mixers. The waiters were attentive but not pushy or hurrying us out the door. It was truly a nice date for my girlfriend and I and well worth the price. If you’re going to a show at the Miracle Theater (which is across the street), I’d highly recommend this spot for a lovely meal before or after.More infoBelga CafePrice: Moderate• Belgian• Capitol Hill•4.7
