Best Bistros in Piermont

We have dined here several times but this was really an outstanding experience. Everything was delicious, served professionally and the noise level was comfortable. I had the special arugula corn and avocado salad, followed by the duck breast with figs. I loved the large slices instead of the usual many thin slices. It was tender and juicy. The figs were marinated and out of this world. I shared the warm bread pudding with my husband. Delicious. The only negative was the espresso. Watery and tasteless. Our friends loved their meal as well. We enjoyed the whole thing so much we stayed 3 hours!

So nice to go on a quiet Thursday afternoon and take advantage of their special chicken parmigiana. The hamburger was as juicy as always.

It was my birthday so it was just right for a different food experiencep to share with my friends.

Delicious hearty food like mom would make, generous portions, beautiful interior and friendly, attentive service. Also great espresso! What more could you want? Highly recommend!

Ambiance: great/ food: starters,great/ main: steak: tough,not high quality. Cocktails: not good, why can’t restaurants in NY make a simple, descent vodka martini, a real man’s do, not “dirty “ and all that crap. Sorry!
