Mains also good, especially the Carbonnade and skirt steak. Desserts outdid themselves: a layered pumpkin tart and "Alex" mousse cake. Our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Service was almost too fast: they were clearly trying to move through a big crowd on Thanksgiving day and courses came promptly. They also had a lot of staff to whisk away plates as soon as we were finished. It's a small restaurant and can feel crowded even without a crowd. The walk to our table for two, both of us elderly and using canes, was difficult. The young host was apologetic and, unbidden, took the price of our soft drinks off the bill. We waited a bit long for our meals, but to be fair, it appeared that many dinners arrived at once.
