Best Brazilian Restaurants in Calgary

We had been to Pampas in Edmonton when they first opened and it was one ofnour favorite restaurants. Many years later we decided to try the Calgary location and was not disappointed. The food is great and the overall experience was fantastic. Was nice to see the owner still in person and hands on, all these years later! Highly recommend the Pampas experience on the menu.

Our first time at Gaucho. We came because it was our son’s 18th Birthday and he’s a big fan of beef. My husband and I have been to other Brazilian Bbq places, and so far this has been our favorite experience. The meat was delicious. The sides were so delicious. Stephen our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely to chat with. Will definitely be coming back. In fact our 12yr old son told us, his plan is to re-create our Gaucho experience, because he wants to come for his 18th birthday now too.

We had our daughter’s birthday dinner there. We come here often because out of all the Brazilian bbq place that we’ve tried, this place is way less salty. Salad bar was also great. Love their cheese bread and grilled pineapple. Their price is also reasonable. It’s a super kids friendly place. Other places charge kids $20-29 whereas this place is $2 x the age of the child. Service is amazing. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I always call beforehand to confirm my booking. The gentlemen would always greet over the phone politely. So far we haven’t had any bad experiences with this restaurant. My daughter love it so much that she calls this place the “red and green sign place” :)
