- EEllenChicago / Illinois •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoAs soon as we arrived the hostess made a point to tell us there was a 2 hour limit to the table and if we weren’t finished and they needed the table we would have to move . This was news to us as open table makes No mention of this at all. Apparently guiesss management is addressing this with open table. Also if you’ve already gone to the Guinness brewery in Dublin please be aware this is nothing like that. The beef stew served with au jus broth instead of a hearty beef gravy as usual. Salads and burgers were good. Fried cheese curds amazing ! Service was outstandingMore infoGuinness Open Gate Brewery - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Brewery• West Loop•4.5
- WWhitneyVIPChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe sat at the bar and everyone who helped us was incredibly kind and created a warm environment. We watched the Bears lose which ruined the very great food we had. We had the sliders (9/10), the fried pickles (10/10), and the Nashville hot sandwich (7/10). The chicken had a little too much breading but otherwise good flavor. Would come back and try other items!More infoAlter Brewing + Kitchen- Oak BrookPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Oak Brook•4.5
- SShirleyNew Mexico •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoExcellent food!!! We were expecting “pub food” but this was so much more. Skilled use of unexpected herbs and spices. This kitchen produced perfectly cooked proteins. The duck was the most flavorful duck I’ve had in a restaurant. The octopus was exactly the right texture. Pork shank and short ribs were fall-off-the-bone and seasoned creatively. Everything was flavorful and delicious. We appreciated the art of the serving dishes, not just plain white plates. Service was also excellent. We were greeted at the door and our table was immediately ready. Our server was attentive. Our food came out hot. Only real negative is the 3% charge to use a card. I don’t like carrying $250+ in cash. I wish this place was in our hometown. We look forward to returning to Cultivate.More infoCultivate by Forbidden RootPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Lincoln Square•4.7
