Best British Restaurants in Fordham

The staff kept leaving a back door open and the very cold draft kept blowing on our table. All 8 of us were commenting on how cold it was where we were sat.

Bar and restaurant both very empty. Food fairly good but very expensive.

Eating out can be challenging as one of us is coeliac, but here we got both fab food and felt listened to and looked after re coeliac concerns. BTW best roast beef I’ve had at a Sunday pub lunch by a long chalk!

The food and cocktails were delicious, but what made this evening so special were the staff (our waitress was particularly fabulous, so wish I'd got her name) and the overall atmosphere. Gorgeous seating, lovely furniture, a variety of areas to eat, drink and socialise. The history of the building and pictures on the wall were a great talking point. The ability to play the piano, just made it! We will be back. Thanks so much :-)
