The Parakeet is a wonderful local, the room is buzzy and cool, the food excellent and staff great. This time, I had a guest with a number of food intolerances and our waiter and the chef annotated what would work and what can be altered. This resulted in a great meal for a difficult eater so thanks! We enjoyed the wine by the glass too as there was a wide range available. A great experience.

The "Bish" has had a recent refurbishment and this was our first visit for Sunday lunch since. The refurbishment, in muted colours, is very classy, with excellent artwork and proper seats now rather than it's former jumble of what can only be described as school chairs. It's also a delight to report that the food is at least as good, if not better. Smaller roast potatoes, but more of them, divinely fluffy yorkies, excellent vegetables and perfect roast beef. We also ordered a side of seriously cheesy cauliflower cheese. An absolute delight.

Such a great restaurant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in a gorgeous space with stunning, absolutely delicious plates of seasonal food, but what really makes it special is the service. The staff are committed, knowledgable and so, so accommodating and lovely - they make every trip here a truly wonderful occasion. The soft serve is pretty amazing too!
