As always a pleasure to dine at The Ivy, first time at the Brighton restaurant. A lovely experience very attentive service and excellent food, buzzy atmosphere but not too loud for conversation. Would definitely go again.

Good experience at the Ivy Guildford Castle View couldn’t enjoy the view due to the weather but the staff and ambience made our experience feel great and warm. Quality of food is always top class, fish and chips portion from the children’s menu was shockingly big but we’re not complaining our 2 year old loved it. Shoutout to the waiter who helped us with our baby’s milk bottle. We’ll visit again when the weather is better.

We were 5 of us to celebrate our sons 18th birthday. We had a table booked for 1.30pm. The initial service was good and our wine and drinks and first course were brought very quickly. There was then a very long delay for our main courses. (Our waitress said there was a very large party upstairs) This is not our problem and the Ivy should have taken on more staff for the day to cope. Eventually our food turned up and 2 out of 5 dishes were like warm. My fish cake with egg was really cold. We did not send the dishes back as we were hungry and didn’t want to ruin the meal! We didn’t have dessert or coffee as our enjoyment of the occasion had been spoiled. The Ivy could do better.

Had a very warm welcome and directed to bar as table not quite ready. Did not take long before we were taken to our table which as just what we had requested. Then had a lovely meal and presented with a Birthday dessert plate which was delicious. Perfect ending to a perfect lunch. Thank you

Waitresses made us feel very welcome. The cafe is dog friendly (waitress even provided a blanket for our dog to lie on and some water). Food was delicious and the Chai Latte was best I've had. An ideal place to meet up with friends over lunch.
