Best Burmese Restaurants in Woodside

If you've been to Burma Love or Burma Superstar, Teakwood delivers on amazing Burmese food. The coconut rice and curry dish make for a winning combination; and you can never go wrong ordering the tea leaf salad, samusas and garlic noodles. While we were disappointed with the spring roll as the rice paper was noticeably hard like cardboard, we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the carmelized cabbage side dish turned out. Overall, the food, service and decor / ambiance make for a great dining experience.

We were seated promptly. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. We had tea leaf salad, shrimp and eggplant, lemongrass chicken, and garlic noodles (medium spice level). A great meal and half came home for dinner tomorrow.

Excellent food and service, but the noise level is over the top. Don't go there expecting to carry on a conversation.

Great service, food and beautiful inside, I already recommended to a few colleagues as well.

We were seated before 6 pm, so noise was not an issue, and it was still easy to talk at the end of our meal. Food and Service were excellent and we will definitely comeback in the future.
