The waiting staff was always prompt and helpful. It was nice to see staff that seemed to be as enthusiastic to be at the experience as we were. The ambiance felt like I was in the cleanest version of a dubious bar. The effort for setting and dressing the experience was very clear. It wasn't just thrown together, all the design decisions felt thought out. Amazing French onion soup (my daughter’s favorite is here- we always rate our French onion at LA restaurants. ) Our server was sweet and attentive. We had the scrambled egg and goat cheese it was delicious - my daughter enjoyed the French toast. What a sweet day we had! Thank you! We will put lunch here in the rotation. We didn’t expect anything special. Seemed like it was comedy night so it started getting louder as the night went on but overall was a good experience. We ordered the burger, shrimp basket, and mac&cheese. Surprisingly yummy! Weed is good and it’s cool that you can smoke openly. The only downside is if you’re downwind of someone also smoking and you get hit in the face with someone else’s smoke, but that’s expected. Our waiter was friendly and not overbearing, answered our questions and came around enough to make us not feel neglected. I can imagine it getting a bit more difficult to get your food in a timely manner or waiving down your waiter if it’s super busy.
