Best Cafés in Lake Hume

The River Deck Cafe is our regular stop when we drive between Melbourne and Canberra or Melbourne and Sydney. The location is amazing, set in the park overlooking the Murray River, so we can stretch our legs and the dog can run around. The food standard here is very high, much higher than one would expect in a small regional location. They take great pride in using fresh local ingredients and the supplies are proudly listed in the menu. Very happy to continue to have this as our regular stop and I always recommend it to fellow foodies.

Great night out for work Christmas function. It's a favourite local spot with delish food. The lovely Jade rang ahead of time to see if we wanted to sit inside instead in the aircon on what was an extremely hot day and evening. We all had a fun time. Thanks, Grass Valley. Merry Christmas.

Outstanding venue. The food was delicious, big serves and very reasonably priced. Sarah and her team really looked after us. They were all very friendly, helpful and obviously happy in their various roles. It took me a while to finally try Mama Mia out. I’ll be a regular from now on.
