We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. When we got to our table, we were greeted by our friendly and welcoming waiter, Marc, who went over the menu with us and answered any questions we had. For the appetizer we chose the crabcakes, which were very good. I ordered the pork chops and my friend ordered the halibut. Both were delicious. The drinks were outstanding as well. It was also decorated so well and I loved the outdoor fire pits. My only critique is that the service felt very rushed. We were here on a Friday night so it was crowded. We had a 5:45 reservation and we didn’t get seated until 6:05 because our table hadn’t left yet. It wasn’t a big deal and we sat by the fire pit while waiting. However, while we were enjoying our appetizers and drinks, we were asked multiple times if they could clear the table. We said we were still working. They then brought our pasta out while we were still working on the apps. Didn’t love that. After dinner though, we did hang out and they didn’t rush us out which I appreciated. For apps we had the perfectly seasoned chicken wings and a Caesar salad with crispy quinoa…nice touch. Entrees included the salmon filet with cheese grits topped with parsley & fennel, a seared pork chop with a loaded potato (substituted the mashed), and finally the Mushroom Étouffée, which is a vegan dish with rice and Cajun Seasoning.
