- JJARISLEIDYNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an amazing experience at 618. If I were to define it I would simply say… impeccable service! Elvin was extensively knowledgeable with all drinks, food and deserts. He knew exactly when to approach us for refills and when it was time for our next course. I like how attentive the staff was on clearing the tables and how we were greeted entering the restaurant and as we left. Now to the good part, the FOOD! Everything was exquisite. I would definitely recommend the meatballs as the small plate (appetizer) very savory and tender. We also had the short rib raviolis it was delicious as well but the meatballs were hard to beat. We had the skirt steak as one of the entrees and WOW that first bite was mouthwatering, perfectly cooked, crunchy yet tender and flavorful (you have to eat it with the sauces they provide on the side). We also had the halibut, it was so beautiful plated with the sweet potato pure and rice but it was a tad dry for my liking however the pure did help with that. The drinks were also beautiful presented, not too sweet and not watery if you know what I mean. For the desert we got the Chunky Monkey Brownie Sunday, surprisingly the banana ice cream was the perfect combo! Overall this is a place I would highly recommend to all of my friends and family.More info618Price: Moderate• American• Freehold•4.9

After enjoying perfect Manhattans by the bartender, Sean, at the gorgeous bar, we opted to have dinner in the piano lounge which was bustling and romantic accompanied by beautiful music throughout our evening. We had the amazing cacio e pepe, prepared tableside, and fantastic grilled octopus for starters. The rack of lamb was tender, perfectly medium rare, as ordered, and so delicious with red wine reduction, and, the wild dover sole in lemon sauce, filleted tableside, was superb! We finished the evening off with a to-die-for pear tart which was so so good! We enjoyed our chat with William Burris, Managing Partner, who was on hand to greet all of his customers and made us feel special. This was my third visit to Lucca and each time has been an incredible experience. We feel so fortunate to have such an amazing dining experience so close to home.More infoRistorante LUCCA & Piano LoungePrice: Expensive• Italian• Bordentown•4.7

- MMichaelVIPNew York City •56 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI dined at The Grand Tavern last night with my wife and daughter. We selected our preferred location the bar to watch and talk to the expert mixologist, Erin, and the chefs’s magic in the kitchen. The real draw is the food, expertly prepared bistro food with a French flair, and the creative cocktails, as noted earlier. Dining at “The Grand” is an opportunity to go on a culinary adventure that elevates your mood and should not be missed.More infoThe Grand TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Neptune•4.9

Our sever Jake mentioned he was new to serving but he did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, made good recommendations, and was attentive but not over bearing. We ordered a few drinks, a bunch of apps, and split an entree. The soda bread was some of the best ive had and was not dry like the grocery store version. My husband said the french onion soup was one of the best hes ever had and all of our cocktails were delicious. Definitely adding this place to our rotationMore infoBrothers DaleyPrice: Expensive• European• Sea Bright•4.6
