Best Cocktail Bars in Tenafly

This was our third trip to Red Rooster and it did not disappoint! We arrived early after the theater and sat at the bar. Love the new look with the band in the cubbie and the walls down! The band started at 5 and were fabulous....we had the squash soup and jerk salmon...perfectly done! Having dinner at the bar with the band is the way to go. Excellent friendly atmosphere with many locals. Just love it!

Fantastic experience. We loved the Sinatra night. Music was impeccable and the atmosphere transported you back. The crowd at the bar was a bit loud, but did not detract too much from the music. We did pay for premium seats which was still an obstructed view but worth it to ensure we could see the show. Without a doubt we would attend again, we just wished we did both shows because we enjoyed it so much!

We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival at a comfortable low table with a view of Lincoln Center right across the street. Service was attentive and cocktail orders arrived quickly. All 4 in the party said the cocktails were well made to asked for specifications, such as 'slightly dirty Hendrick's Martini.' Oysters Rockefeller were truly excellent and other snacks were good. Background music and noise level were moderate. Prices are $21 for standard cocktails with $3 extra for requested brands such as Ketel One. This is a good place to meet for cocktails and snacks before a performance.

If you can prix fixe with 2 hour open bar is worth it.
