Best Cocktail Bars in Bala Cynwyd

We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday at Blondie and from the moment we walked in we were treated warmly by the friendly staff:). It was so nice to received a champagne toast to begin our celebration ! Service was friendly & efficient and the food was delicious! This was my first time dining here, and we will be back! Everything was amazing!

The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Had the sea bass, 10/10. Had every raw oyster they had available and loved every single one. The broccolini Caesar was amazing as well. Will definitely go back to try the crab fried rice.

Went for the Sunday brunch with kids. The view and the ambiance cannot be beat. Food was fantastic and the brunch dessert bar was incredible. Well worth the trip. However, we had an 11:30 reservation and the coat check/ concierge guy kept telling us the restaurant wasn’t ready for us yet. After 20 minutes I finally walked down to the bottom of the steps where the restaurant was and the hostess said they had been waiting for us. This was seriously annoying as we had 3 kids and a full agenda for the afternoon. Once we were seated the experience was great. The restaurant should have better communication between its staff. In hindsight, I don’t think the coat check guy even spoke to the restaurant.

It has been years since we had a meal at Village Whiskey PHL. Tonight was as good as we remembered. We ate in the bar area even though we had a reservation in the dining room. A great vibe and our server was attentive and the meal was more casual. It was nice sitting in a bar and not having one or more flat screens staring at us. I do appreciate a good sports bar but this was a nice change of pace. Look forward to our next visit.
