Best Cocktail Bars in Old Town Alexandria

The food was really good. Nothing exceptional but really good. My husband had the Boeuf Bourguignon and gave it a B+. I had the Strip Au Poivre and I was a little disappointed with the “green peppercorn sauce”. The sauce was not made with cream (which is usually the traditional way). The cookie on top of the Crème Brûlée was unnecessary and didn’t taste good. The dessert would have been better served with a strawberry on top and no cookie. Service was great and our waitress was very polite and pleasant. The best part of dinner was the ambiance. It is a beautiful building!

I love everything about Julia’s. The wonderful food and windows overlooking the Potomac making an ideal spot for a weekend brunch. I have taken family twice since October to celebrate their birthday. Love this place and highly recommend.❤️

I usually don’t write reviews but the service and food at The Study warrants praise! Our server, Rodney, offered great recommendations and an excellent vibe. The meals were delicious and our favorite dish was the octopus entree. We got to meet Manny, who made us unique and delicious cocktails! Our experience was only topped by getting to meet Chef Maddie and learning more about the menu. We will definitely return to the study

Our meals were delicious and service was exceptional, as always. The music was kind of loud and when the tables started to fill, the acoustics got worse. Nevertheless, we always enjoy our meals at Rosemarino! Staff is super-friendly and attentive. Parking is a breeze

The ambience and view are great. Service was good. However, two frustrations. There were no age restrictions mentioned online or in person, and yet my friends with a three year old daughter were not allowed to stay. And there was a mixup with the credit cards where the wrong card was charged.
