Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Sussex

I love Don's. Food, service and decor great, love it all especially the Fruity Pebbles Waffle. Wish they would bring back 7Up Pancakes. Ooh, so good!

This place was so tasty for brunch! We started out with the fried green tomato appetizers and we could have just gotten those, we got pretty full. 4 large fried green tomatoes on top of a spicy sauce and goat cheese grits (the best!). I got a grain bowl with extra avocado which was so good and then we got a traditional breakfast but added loaded potatoes (bacon and sauce on top), I would highly recommend. I would come back to this place. Service was great and attentive and lots of options (even if you are a vegetarian).

The pork chops were fabulous! A nice and value-priced selection of wines by the glass. Rey competent and friendly service. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. I highly recommend!

Oh. My. Goodness!! Kitchen & Kocktails, is so far the best. Very good food, drinks and service. Smiling hostess when we walked in and happily walked us to our table. We had the most delicious drinks. We had Drinks ordered were French Quarter Kiss, Lemon Drop Delight, 414 Ole Fashioned, and a Chardonnay (that not pictured). Then round 2 was A Strawberry Sip, and 2 beers. Food ordered was Appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes Salmon Bites Entrees: Catfish, Fried chicken and Mac & Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, and Ox Tails and grits. Everything was just delicious. Tonight they had a dj playing ol' school music which was great. The drinks, and food were just amazing. Will definitely be retuning. I will say, make sure you have a reservation to make sure you're seated in a timely manner.
