- KKorenGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDelightful meal, as always, at David’s 388! But this one was especially lovely : we were given one of our fave tables at the window, overlooking the sidewalk and DiPietros… there were string lights overhead and the snow was falling outside. It felt magical. Service was absolutely wonderful- from the host at the door, to our server, to the food runner who brought our meals! So friendly and thoughtful. This is exactly why we love this little neighborhood gem. xoMore infoDavid's 388Price: Expensive• Bistro• South Portland•4.8

The service and ambiance were extraordinary from start to finish and were only exceeded by the chef's remarkable recipes. We chose the three course dinner and every dish was meticulously prepared, subtly flavored and absolutely delicious! As advertised, the price is on the high side which reflects their uniqueness, their quality and their commitment to providing an exceptional experience. Topping everything off is their small but windowed dining room providing a wonder view of the ocean.More infoOceanPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Kennebunkport•4.8

Even something like potato leek soup, which I almost didn’t select because it seemed too ordinary and there were so many other great options in the first course, ended up being the best soup I have ever had. Cocktails were creative and fantastic as well. Really nice ambience with the rustic but elegant decor.More infoEarth at Hidden PondPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Kennebunkport•4.8
- FFredGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had not been back to David’s for a number of years due to location; however, we were thrilled with the entire dining experience starting with their willingness to slightly change our reservation time in order to move to a table and have a longer seating time. The service was superb and not rushed, yet attentive. The choices offered under each course were all scrumptious which made it difficult to choose, but we did choosing the lamb and duck dishes as our mains. Cooked perfectly at medium rare for both, eating them was to experience well blended yet not overpowering flavors and perfectly sized portions. The appetizers were equally impressive but I must say the sea salted cashew caramel chocolate torte was divine! A great dining experience and would highly recommend for a special evening.More infoDavid's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Portland•4.7
