Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Cerritos

My wife and I were visiting family in California for the holidays and needed a romantic date night. We searched online for the best restaurants in Los Angeles and decided on The Ranch. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful the entire experience was: from the mouth-watering artichokes that were so perfectly seasoned with their complimenting sauces, to the best, most tender and juicy New York strip steak we’ve ever had! The Milky Way and Crème brûlée desserts were -again- perfect! Finally, we’d like to thank our sweet, kind, and beautiful server, Alejandra, who made the entire dining experience a special night to remember. Thank you very much, Alejandra!

I like to say the most memorable part of the meal is the service! We LOVED our server, she was kind and precise. Management doing a fantastic job. There were two personal preference moments, one woman who dropped off our dish had her hand in her pocket (weird & unsanitary) and a gentleman cleared out a plate with food still on it, didn’t left much time to nibble. Food is beautiful and innovative. Carrot dish wasn’t my favorite, bass had a really pungent oil taste and had excessive amount of it. Oysters, Brussels, corn, goat curry FABULOUS! Drinks FABULOUS! Favorite part of the dessert was the tamarind drizzle, I got it on the side and drank it with a spoon 🙂 I would have loved the drinks menu and one food menu left on the table so we could tried more things. Overall experience was beautiful. Will definitely come back. Thank You for making my partners birthday special.

Each dish tends to be unique. Make sure you fully understand what you are ordering for the best experience. The ingredients are high quality. The coffee is delicious. Overall a good dining experience.

It was our 2nd time to Jolie and we brought some friends that had not been there yet. The food was excellent and Mia our waitress was awesome! We had a few mishaps with our food but Mia and the manager took care of us. So nice to have a resturant that takes care of there customers :) We will be back soon!

This dining experience at 71Above was excellent, the three course meal was incredible, from my first course the farm salad, to my second course the ribeye steak and lastly my third course the mango rice pudding. The food was amazing, the view of overlooking downtown LA from the 71st floor just added to the ambiance; as well as our amazing waiter making it an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend 71Above!!!!
